What You’ll Do
Security staff help keep the festival organized, safe, and enjoyable for everyone attending.
Common responsibilities include:

- Checking credentials and wristbands
- Helping guide fans and answer questions
- Observing crowd activity and reporting concerns
- Assisting fans who need help
- Supporting other festival teams when needed

Entry-Level Security Areas
Most new security staff begin in one of the following areas:
- Gate Security – monitoring entrances and guest access points
- Bar Security – supporting bar areas that also host live music performances and monitoring nearby crowds
- Campground Gates – patrolling camping areas and helping maintain a safe environment for campers
Requirements
Applicants should:
- Be 18 years or older
- Be reliable and able to complete scheduled shifts
- Stay calm and professional in busy environments
- Be comfortable interacting with fans
- Be able to stand or walk for extended periods
Previous event or security experience is helpful but not required.
Important Expectations
Security staff represent the festival while on duty and are expected to maintain professional conduct.
