Festival Gate Team

Gate workers are the first people fans meet when they arrive, making them an important part of the festival experience. Like all staff, gate workers become part of the Fest Family - a community of people who come together each year to build something special. It’s a unique opportunity to work hard, have fun, and help create an incredible festival for thousands of attendees. If you enjoy working with people and staying active in a fast-paced environment, the gate team may be a great fit.

Perks You’ll Enjoy

  • After your shift, you can stay and enjoy the festival the rest of the night
  • Free parking the day of your shift
  • Working the entire festival? Your campsite is on us in the staff campground.

What You’ll Do

Gate staff help welcome fans and keep the entry process running smoothly. Responsibilities include:
  • Greeting arriving fans
  • Guiding vehicles through the entry process
  • Collecting or verifying entry payments
  • Issuing and placing festival armbands
  • Answering fan questions
  • Keeping lines moving efficiently

The gates can be
fast-paced during peak arrival times, so teamwork and communication are essential. This role is active, social, and fast-paced, making it a great fit for people who enjoy working with fans.
